Role: Axiom Technical Business Analyst

Overview
This is a newly formed role within a growing, high-calibre team at a leading bank. It is a brilliant time to join as the organisation undergoes large-scale transformational projects within their Regulatory Reporting IT space. You will join a high-impact environment focused on delivering mission-critical AxiomSL solutions for global compliance.
The Role
You will work on large transformational projects, collaborating with upstream teams to ensure the delivery of critical data points required for the Regulatory suite of applications. This role requires a blend of deep regulatory knowledge and high-level technical proficiency in Axiom, specifically focused on data analysis and mapping between complex banking systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working on large-scale transformational projects within Regulatory Reporting IT
- Leveraging Axiom expertise to facilitate the delivery of regulatory applications
- Collaborating with upstream teams to secure data points for regulatory reporting
- Performing deep data analysis and complex mapping between various banking systems
- Utilizing SQL queries to interrogate data and ensure accuracy for reporting
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders in a newly formed function
Requirements
- Strong Business Analyst background with a focus on technical delivery
- Strong Axiom experience is essential for this role
- Proven Regulatory Reporting experience: Specifically COREP, UK/EU Pillar 1 PRA Reporting, Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, and Large Exposures
- Technical Data Skills: Proven experience in data analysis and mapping data between disparate systems
- SQL: Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and validate data
- Communication: Excellent skills to navigate a growing team and a newly formed role
