A leading fintech trading firm is looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based cloud solutions, ensuring the firm’s infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient.
You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with talented engineers and technologists to enhance and optimise cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with the latest cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and optimise a highly available and complex Azure Cloud infrastructure
- Enhance operational efficiency through the automation of processes and workflows
- Lead the migration process to Azure Cloud, planning and executing the transition from on-premise to cloud-based environments.
- Monitor and optimise cloud resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
- Keep up to date with Azure technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and new solutions where appropriate.
- Document cloud infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ Years in a cloud engineering role -specifically Azure
- Solid understanding of Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Entra ID and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Experience with scripting languages, e.g. PowerShell, Bash and Python
- Strong proficiency with IaC tools such as ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform, etc.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git version control
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus
