We are partnering with an established, innovation-led organisation to hire a talented Junior C# Developer to join their growing engineering team. The Role
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of scalable backend systems within a modern .NET environment. You will work closely with senior engineers to improve system architecture, maintain code quality, and deliver reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop clean, maintainable code using C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Contribute to the development of scalable backend services and REST APIs
• Support the evolution of system architecture and improve existing codebases
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, reliable software
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with senior engineers
Requirements
• 1–3 years of commercial experience working with C# and .NET
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service development
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL)
