My client is looking for a Linux and Storage Engineer with DevOps experience to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Manage huge petabyte-scale storage systems
- Managing the Linux estate
- Troubleshooting hardware and software across the platform
- Scripting to automate tasks
- Working across common DevOps technologies (IaC, Configuration Management, Containers, Cloud, Python, etc.)
Skills required
- 5 years of Linux Systems Engineering experience
- Some experience working in Python, Ruby or Bash scripting
- Degree in a relevant area
- Broad Linux and DevOps-related experience
Desirable skills
- Agile
- Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Any experience with GPFS, NFS, etc.
- ELK
- Prometheus / Grafana
