Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled C++ Developer with excellent technical and communication abilities to join a successful and fast-paced tech-driven team within the finance sector.
You’ll be working alongside top-tier technologists with backgrounds from some of the most respected tech and trading environments, collaborating on cutting-edge systems that push the boundaries of performance and scalability in financial software.
This role offers the chance to contribute to the development of one of the most robust and scalable data platforms in the industry. You’ll have end-to-end involvement in the software development lifecycle, with real influence over the direction and implementation of key technical solutions.
The Role
C++ Development: Building high-performance systems using C++.
Python Development: Working with Python to support platform and service development.
Microservices: Building and consuming RESTful microservices.
Data Systems: Contributing to large-scale and high-throughput data platforms.
Full SDLC: Participating across the full software development lifecycle with influence over design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Designing and developing scalable financial software systems.
- Performance Engineering: Contributing to performance-critical components.
- Service Integration: Developing and integrating RESTful services.
- Collaboration: Working closely with highly experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- C++ & Python: Strong commercial experience with C++ and Python (2+ years).
- Microservices: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful microservices.
- Data Platforms: Experience handling large-scale or high-throughput data systems.
- Finance Experience: Prior experience in the finance sector (preferred but not essential).
- Education: Solid academic background, ideally in Computer Science or a related discipline from a top university.
