Role: Desktop Support Engineer/Lead
Client: Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists
Salary: Up to $200,000 + bonus + package/perks
Location: New York (Hybrid/Remote - 3/4 days onsite)
About the Role
My client is a dynamic global quant fund that is building cutting edge systems from a beautiful office in New York. In this position, you will set up, maintain, and enhance workstations, mobile devices, servers, and conference room systems. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that impact their mission-critical trading and enterprise environment. (A full and detailed job spec is available)
Skills and Experience
- Track Record: 3+ years commercial experience within a lead System Engineering/Systems Administrator role.
- Core OS: Strong experience supporting and configuring Windows 10.
- Identity & Management: Deep knowledge of Group Policy and Active Directory.
- Personality: A genuine passion for technology and a proactive approach.
Nice to Have
- Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for streamlining tasks.
- Hybrid Systems: Experience working with Linux environments.
