Client: Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists
Salary: Up to £150,000 + bonus + package/perks
Location: London (Hybrid/Remote - 3/4 days onsite)
Overview
In this position, you will manage the readiness of global trading platforms, covering pre-trading and post-trading activities. Quickly identify, analyze, and resolve issues or escalate as needed to minimize disruptions and prevent outages, ensuring smooth trade operations. (A full and detailed job spec is available)
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Readiness: Manage the readiness of global trading platforms across pre-trading and post-trading activities.
- Issue Resolution: Quickly identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions.
- Outage Prevention: Escalate as needed to prevent outages and ensure smooth trade operations.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the continuous stability and performance of mission-critical trading systems.
Skills and Experience
- Track Record: Minimum 2 years trade flow support experience.
- Scripting: Solid Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Data: An understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL, Postgres etc.).
- Systems: Must love Linux.
- Personality: A personality and genuine passion in technology!
Nice to Have
- Education: Computer Science Degree.
