Overview
A globally respected hedge fund is seeking a KDB+/Q Developer to join its elite engineering team. In this role, you’ll design and build the next-generation research and analytics platform that underpins advanced trading strategies across global markets. This is a high-impact, hands-on position where your work will directly support real-time decision-making and drive the fund’s competitive edge.
The Role
As a KDB+/Q Developer, you will partner closely with Quant Researchers, Traders, and Portfolio Managers to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and building next-generation research and analytics platforms from the ground up.
• Developing scalable, high-performance data solutions to underpin advanced trading strategies.
• Partnering closely with Quant Researchers, Traders, and Portfolio Managers to translate business needs into technical architecture.
• Engineering low-latency real-time data systems that support global market decision-making.
• Contributing to both technical and strategic decisions within a flat and agile engineering structure.
Requirements
• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on experience developing in KDB+/Q.
• Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience, preferably within trading or production environments.
• Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of real-time data systems or electronic trading infrastructure.
