Role: Kubernetes & HPC Platform Engineer – Trading

Compensation: $120,000 - $250,000 CAD + Bonus

Overview
My client are seeking an Engineer to join a highly technical team focused on the scheduling side of technology.
You will work extensively with HPC technologies and have deep knowledge of Kubernetes.
The role is broad and interacts with many different technical teams throughout the organisation.
The Role
Scheduling Platform: Working on the scheduling and orchestration side of technology within a trading environment.
HPC: Extensive use of High Performance Computing technologies.
Collaboration: Interacting with multiple technical teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Engineering: Supporting and developing Kubernetes and HPC platforms.
- Scheduling: Working with scheduling and orchestration tools such as Slurm.
- GPU Workloads: Supporting GPU-based workloads.
- Automation: Writing and maintaining Python scripts where required.
Requirements
- HPC: Strong experience with High Performance Computing.
- Kubernetes: Deep knowledge of Kubernetes.
- GPU: Experience working with GPU environments.
- Slurm: Experience with Slurm scheduling.
- Python: Strong Python skills.
Desirable
- Airflow: Experience with Airflow.
- Prefect: Experience with Prefect.
- GitLab: Experience with GitLab.
- Docker: Experience with Docker.
- ELK: Experience with ELK stack.
- Ansible: Experience with Ansible.
- Terraform: Experience with Terraform.
