Role: Platform Engineer – Linux – Trading

Salary: $85,000 - $150,000 SGD
Location: Singapore / Hybrid
The Role
My client is seeking a Linux Platform Engineer to work on their low latency Linux estate. The role is a cross between Linux Systems Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering. You will build, design, and support automated solutions for scalable deployment in private and public cloud infrastructure. You will work in both a project and BAU capacity, automating wherever possible.
Core Skills Required
- Linux: Deep expertise in the Linux operating system.
- Configuration Management: Proficiency in Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
- CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Development/Scripting: Ability to code in Python, Ruby, or Go.
Desirable Skills
- IaC: Experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, or Bicep.
- DR: Knowledge of Disaster Recovery strategies.
- Storage: Familiarity with Block / Blob Storage.
- HPC: Experience with High Performance Computing environments.
