An Elite FinTech firm is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience working with large volumes of data and highly distributed systems to join a passionate group of technologists as part of their exceptional team. The Role
As a Senior Python Developer, you will sit at the center of the firm’s data strategy, building out high-performance solutions for mission-critical environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting a brand-new, greenfield ML platform from the ground up.
- Building high-performance solutions for a mission-critical environment dealing with multi-petabytes of data.
- Working heavily in Python while gaining exposure to other high-performance languages such as Rust and Go.
- Collaborating within a tech-first culture to solve complex problems related to real-time data and distributed systems.
Requirements
- 4–15 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a specific focus on distributed systems or high volumes of data.
- Extensive Python expertise with the ability to write clean, scalable code.
- A strong technical background, ideally within a high-pressure or data-intensive industry.
- ML/MLOps knowledge is considered a significant plus.
- An interest in polyglot programming, specifically regarding Rust and Go.
