Role: Software Engineer (C++/Python)

Client: Performance Software Scale Up

Compensation: up to £400,000 P/A + Bonus (DOE)

Overview

My client are seeking a talented engineer to join their existing team of elite software engineers and help to build their next generation performance software platform. The existing team consists of some of the brightest minds hailing from a range of backgrounds (Big tech, Start-ups, Quant Funds etc), all striving to build the next generation of performance technology. This is an extremely tech focussed organisation who are looking for the next wave of tech driven, entrepreneurial personalities to help expand the team.

The Role

The position will allow you to work across a range of projects, within which you will get end-to-end input on design and development as well as a real say in the direction that the team moves. The role is based in London however, there will be some flexibility for hybrid working.

Key responsibilities include:

• Helping to build the next generation performance software platform
• Contributing end-to-end input on design and development
• Collaborating with an elite team of engineers from Big Tech and Quant backgrounds
• Influencing the future technical direction of the team
• Working with technology that is years ahead of global competitors

Requirements

• 2+ Years working with C++, Python or Java
• Experience working with highly distributed and scalable systems
• Strong understanding of high level system design
• Outstanding academic background - Ideally Computer Science Degree from an Ivy League University
• A curious and tech driven personality
