Role: Technical Business Analyst

Overview
This is a newly formed role within a growing, high-calibre team at a leading bank. It is a brilliant time to join as the organisation undergoes large-scale transformational projects within their Regulatory Reporting IT space. You will join a great environment focused on delivering mission-critical data solutions for global compliance.
The Role
You will work on large transformational projects, collaborating with upstream teams to ensure the delivery of critical data points required for the Regulatory suite of applications. This role requires a blend of deep regulatory knowledge and technical data proficiency, specifically focused on data analysis and mapping between complex systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working on large-scale transformational projects within Regulatory Reporting IT
- Collaborating with upstream teams to secure data points for regulatory applications
- Performing deep data analysis and complex mapping between various banking systems
- Utilizing SQL queries to interrogate data and ensure accuracy for reporting
- Supporting the delivery of the Regulatory suite of applications in a fast-paced environment
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong Business Analyst background with a focus on technical delivery
- Proven Regulatory Reporting experience (UK/EU Pillar 1 PRA, COREP, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, FRTB, or BoE Statistical reporting)
- Technical Data Skills: Proven experience in data analysis and mapping data between disparate systems
- SQL: Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and validate data
- Communication: Excellent skills to navigate a newly formed role and a growing team
- Ability to work effectively on high-pressure, large-scale transformation projects
