Overview

My client is a leading FinTech firm looking for a Senior Technical Workday Lead to drive a global Workday implementation. This is a high-visibility, senior-level role within a fast-scaling sector, requiring an individual who can bridge the gap between complex financial requirements and technical system architecture.

The Role

You will be the primary technical authority for a global Workday rollout, encompassing both Finance and HR modules. Beyond hands-on technical solution design and integrations, you will provide critical leadership and mentorship to a small, focused delivery team. This role is essential for ensuring that the Workday ecosystem is robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the firm's global financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Global Implementation: Leading the end-to-end rollout of Workday Finance and HR modules
  • Technical Design: Owning Workday integrations and the overarching technical solution design
  • Leadership: Providing direct mentorship and guidance to a small, agile delivery team
  • Stakeholder Management: Working closely with internal clients to deliver high-quality, bespoke Workday solutions
  • Integrations: Building and managing complex technical integrations across the broader FinTech tech stack

Requirements

  • Experience: Senior-level expertise in Workday Finance and HR implementations
  • Domain Knowledge: A strong background in Finance is essential to understand the underlying business logic
  • Integration Skills: Solid, hands-on experience with Workday integration tools and methodologies
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading or mentoring a technical team
  • Education: A degree is preferred, though not mandatory for candidates with significant practical experience
  • Industry: Experience within the FinTech or high-growth technology sector is highly advantageous
